Sean Hooker

Founder

I am a Quantitative Developer at a leading Hedge Fund based in London. I have a deep passion for technology and its role in driving cutting-edge decision-making in sports. My goal with this project has been to help clubs unlock their full potential in analytics and identify areas where they can gain a competitive edge.

I believe any opportunity to enhance a team's performance or improve decision-making is worth pursuing. Through our work, we aim to support clubs in seizing these opportunities and help guide them on their analytics journey.

Matthew McCarrison

I am a Senior Backend Engineer, having studied Computer Science and Machine Learning from the University of Edinburgh. I’ve combined my love for sports and analytics through Beyond XI, helping sports organisations leverage data more effectively.

I love uncovering insights beyond traditional metrics like goals and possession, exploring areas such as sleep, nutrition, and genetics—key factors often overlooked in sports performance. My goal is to make data-driven decision-making accessible, helping teams gain a competitive edge that was once reserved for much larger clubs with greater resources.
